Have you recently welcomed a new puppy into your home?
If so, La Trobe University’s Anthrozoology Research Group would love to hear from you! Those who are over the age of 18 years and have had their puppy for at least two weeks, but no longer than two months, are invited to complete a questionnaire seeking to find out more about the experiences of new puppy owners. The questionnaire is completely anonymous and should take you no more than 30 minutes to complete. Approval for this project was obtained from La Trobe’s Human Ethics Committee (HEC18210). Once the questionnaire is completed you will be given an opportunity to go into a prize draw to possibly win 1 of 6 $50 gift vouchers to an online pet store.

Are you a parent of a child aged 6-12 years? Have you separated from this child’s other parent in the last three years?
If yes, you are invited to take part in an online survey that will take about 10 minutes of your time. To thank you for your participation, we have four ColesMyer vouchers of $50 each to give away. This project is about exploring what helps children to cope after their parents have separated. Previous research has found an increased risk of mental health difficulties for children following parental separation. In doing this study we want to add to the current literature and provide a resource for educational programs and professionals.

Researchers at La Trobe University are seeking participants for a survey looking at canine behaviour problems in the context of owner characteristics. If you are over 18 and have owned your current dog for more than 6 months your participation would be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to go into the draw to win a $50 voucher please ensure you provide your name and email at the end. Additionally, if you have a family pet please ensure only one person in your family fills out the survey for this dog.
